• "The INSPIRE™ program designed by Balance Studios was an instrumental tool in the coordinating and planning of the American Red Cross Lakeland Chapter Website.
  
  The use of INSPIRE used among the design team at Balance Studios and the website team at the Red Cross allowed for streamlined communications. The message board allowed for a constant record of communication between the two teams. E-mail can sometime not go through or get deleted and then there is no record of items discussed. The use of the message board kept a record that both teams could refer back to.
  
  The calendar feature was also very useful in keeping track of meeting times and project deadlines. Deadlines were available in one place for both teams and there was no confusion on meeting times or dates.
  
  The greatest asset of using INSPIRE in the planning and design of the website is that it cut down the face-to-face meetings. This just created a greater efficiency for both teams. Balance Studios was able to upload designs and content and we were able to view it and approve or make suggestions via the message board at our convenience. We still needed to have the initial planning meetings face-to-face, but the use of INSPIRE cut down on having to meet every time something needed to be approved.
